"The camera follows the Flora Alberta, a bluenose schooner, on a cod fishing trip to the Grand Banks. Despite the ever-present danger of German submarines, the thirty man crew pursues its responsibilities of catching and cleaning the fish. Back in Lunenberg the cod are filleted and packed for sale across the country."
