"Telescope enters into the world of train enthusiasts, particularly that of the steam train enthusiast. Trainspotter Charles Bowman guides the viewer through the daily weekend routine of the train bug, which could involve anything from taking photographs of favourite trains or making audio recordings of a particular locomotive as it passes by. Highlighted are several locomotives including Canadian Pacific Railways' locomotive number 1057, owned and maintained by Mr. Paul McCartney and his son Don of Toronto, Ontario and Canadian National Railways' steam locomotive number 6167 which takes people out on weekend excursions from Toronto's Union Station."
