"Portrait of Galt born filmmakers Len and Charles Roos. The brothers' careers are meticulously traced from around 1910 to the fifties. True pioneers, they travelled the globe, wrote extensively and Len was also an inventor. Boyden shows some of their more intimate antics in re-enacted scenes in which she plays the role of her grandfather Len."

"Len and Charlie Roos were Canadian brothers who contributed greatly to the field of cinematography. Born in Galt, Ontario, they began their careers at the turn of the century as photographers and filmmakers. While older brother Charlie made many industrial and government commissioned films in Canada, Len toured the world making newsreels for Fox and Pathe. Their story is affectionately told by Len's granddaughter, filmmaker Barbara Boyden, using much of the footage originally shot by the Roos brothers."

Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec: 16mm.
