"Film detailing the role the Department of Education in Saskatchewan is taking in promoting nationalism among school children. Intertitles read: "The Department of Education, Regina, Saskatchewan, has produced this picture of the purpose of showing what Saskatchewan is doing for Canadianization of the West. If we are to build a strong unified Canadian people in this Great Dominion we must solve the problem of racial assimilation." "The pictures that follow show several thousand school children - the majority of non-English parentage - being introduced to the social side of Canadian life at the Field Day Sports held at Sheho, Theodore and Calder, Saskatchewan." "The Grand Parade. Several hundred happy young Canadians born on our liberty loving soil are proudly marching by as their parents - of Ruthenian, German, Polish, Bohemian, etc. descent - gaze with undoubted admiration." "Hundreds of Union Jacks were distributed and the children proudly wave them as the procession passes along".
