"This film documents the Peter Dawson Special Relay Race for the Championship of the World, a relay race with 2-man teams. The race was run on a course from Montreal to Sherbrooke to Ste-Anne and ending at the Montreal Stadium where the last leg of the race was a 26 mile run entirely within the stadium grounds. Participants in the race included: Philip Granville, Frank Hoey, Ollie Wanttinen, Edouard Fabré, Pete G. Gavuzzi, Joie Ray and Arthur Newton. The race, a 500-mile course, was won by Arthur Newton and Pete Gavuzzi in a time of fifty-two hours and 18 minutes. Sam and Allan Bronfman congratulate the winning team. Camillien Houde, the Mayor of Montreal, congratulates Edouard Fabré and Ollie Wanttinen."
