"Film looks at the symptoms commonly associated with a depressive state. Dr. Heinz Lehmann twice interviews a man who suffers from depression brought on by three nervous breakdowns. In the first interview, which takes place in the morning, the subject is agitated and nervous. In the second interview, which takes place in the evening, the subject appears much calmer and relaxed."
