"The story of the 1962 Canadian Open Golf Championship held at Laval-sur-le-Lac in Montreal, Quebec. The film follows such golf greats as Gene Littler, Jack Nicklaus, Doug Ford and Jacky Cupit as they battle it out for the Gold Cup. This year's winner was Ted Kroll, former world champion from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The feature of the film is the thrilling battle btween Kroll and Charlie Sifford for first place in the final ten minutes of the picture."
