"Documentary film on the Bella Coola Indians of British Columbia. The beautiful fjords, mountains, glaciers and cataracts of the Bella Coola region are the setting for this film. Indians are shown drying salmon, picking berries, making baskets, back-packing, carving and navigating a dug-out cedar canoe. A medicine man is seen with his rattle. Other exceptional footage includes the masked dance, mountain goat and black bear."
